Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa attend European Cultural Award 2024
On Friday, Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa attended the European Cultural Award 2024 ceremony during which Grand Duchess Maria Teresa received a prize.
In her acceptance speech, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa said:” I receive a cultural prize...for the committed fights that I lead against child abuse, against rape as a weapon of war, and against the inequalities that persist between women and men. I am very touched because I think that education for all, shared solidarity, respect for differences, tolerance, freedom of expression, complementarity between women and men on the principle of total equality, are part of these values. on which Europe was built, with Luxembourg among the founding members.”
Grand Duchess Maria Teresa wore a Natan Couture jumpsuit with navy accessories.
