Regal Review: King Felipe and Queen Letizia's Introductory Visit to the Netherlands

On October 15th, 2014, King Felipe and Queen Letizia made their introductory visit to the Netherlands, their first to a European Monarchy. They were officially welcomed by King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima at Noordeinde Palace.

King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima held a lunch in honor of King Felipe and Queen Letizia at the Palace.

Afterward, King Felipe and Queen Letizia went to the States General of the Netherlands to meet with the presidents of the Senate and the House of Representatives, Ankie Borekers-Knol and Anouchka Van Miltenburg.

King Felipe and Queen Letizia concluded their visit with a meeting with Prime Minister Mark Rutte at the Binnenhof to discuss bilateral relations and various community issues.

Queen Letizia wore a Felipe Varela red embroidered dress with Magrit red pumps and her Magrit clutch. She paired the outfit with her Aldao Joyeros earrings.

Queen Maxima wore a Natan brown dress with Natan pumps and a Natan clutch. She also wore a Fabienne Delvigne hat.
