European Royals attend Paris 2024 Paralympic Games - Day 2
On Friday, Queen Letizia, Princess Astrid, and Prince Lorenz attended the second day of the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
Queen Letizia first attended the men's wheelchair basketball group stage match between Spain and Australia which Spain won. She met with the team after the match.
Afterward, Queen Letizia then attended track cycling events. She met with First Lady Brigitte Macron, congratulated cyclist Alfonso Cabello Llamas who won the Bronze Medal in the Men's 1000m Time Trial, and met with Eduardo Santas Asensio who finished fourth in the Men's 3000M-C3 Individual Pursuit.
Queen Letizia then went to the South Paris Arena where she attended the Boccia competition. She met with the Spanish athletes and took part in a practice session of Boccia.
In the evening, Queen Letizia attended the swimming events at La Défense Arena and she watched as Spanish swimmer of Ukrainian origin, Anastasiya Dmytriv won the gold medal in the Women's 100M Breaststroke category – SBB.
Princess Astrid and Prince Lorenz also cheered on Belgian athletes today. They watched as Maxime Carabin won the gold medal in the 400 metres sprint T52 and Ewoud Vromant won the silver medal in the track cycling event.
Queen Letizia wore the John Smith Paralympic polo with white jeans and her MU sneakers. She paired the outfit with her Gold & Roses earrings and her Coreterno ring.
Princess Astrid wore a repeated dress with her Gucci belt.
