Regal Review: King Felipe and Queen Letizia's Introductory Visit to Germany

On December 1st, 2014, King Felipe and Queen Letizia made their introductory visit to Germany, their last introductory visit of the year. They were first officially welcomed at Bellevue Palace by Federal President Joachim Gauck and his wife, Daniela Schadt.

The Presidential Couple hosted a private meeting and then an official luncheon in honor of King Felipe and Queen Letizia.

In the afternoon, King Felipe and Queen Letizia visited the Brandenburg Gate in the company of the Mayor-President of Berlin, Klaus Wowereit.

Afterward, they walked to City Hall where they signed the Golden Book and held a meeting with the Mayor-President of Berlin.

King Felipe and Queen Letizia then met with Chancellor Angela Merkel at the Federal Chancellery.

The Royal Couple also met with the President of the Bundestag Norbert Lammert.

In the evening, King Felipe and Queen Letizia held a reception at the Spanish Embassy for a hundred prominent figures of German society.

Queen Letizia wore a Hugo Boss red coat with a matching red scarf. She also wore a Hugo Boss black blazer, a Hugo Boss white blouse, and a Hugo Boss printed skirt. She paired the outfit with her Carolina Herrera pumps and her Hugo Boss clutch. Her earrings are by TOUS.
