Queen Silvia and Princess Madeleine visit NYC - Day 1
This week, Queen Silvia and Princess Madeleine made an official visit to New York City with the World Childhood Foundation. They were spotted in the city on Tuesday.
On Wednesday, Queen Silvia and Princess Madeleine first met with Ukrainian First Lady Olena Zelenska at the UN headquarters to discuss Ukraine’s efforts to rebuild the country and strengthen children's rights.
In the evening, Queen Silvia and Princess Madeleine attended a dinner dinner at Sweden's residence in New York to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the World Childhood Foundation.
In her speech, Queen Silvia said: “When I founded Childhood, the mission was clear: to give a voice to the most vulnerable in our society— children at risk of sexual abuse and exploitation. For far too long, their voices were ignored and society turned a blind eye. But we refused to stand by. We chose to listen, to act, and to lead. […] As we celebrate 25 years of progress this year, we renew our commitment to this fight. With courage and determination, we will continue driving change. Together, we will ensure that every child can grow up in a world free from child sexual abuse and exploitation.”
On Tuesday, Queen Silvia wore a Uniqlo jacket with her Rieker trainers. She also wore her Ray-Ban sunglasses and her Cartier and Engelbert bracelets.
Princess Madeleine wore a khaki jacket with jeans, her Chanel flats, and her Fendi bag. She also wore her Valentino sunglasses and her Cartier bracelet.
On Wednesday, Queen Silvia first wore her Zara jacket with her Louis Vuitton bag. She also wore her Cartier and Engelbert bracelets.
Princess Madeleine wore her Alberto Biani coat with a Wakakuu Icons jumper and Alberto Biani trousers. She paired the outfit with her Zara pumps and her Fendi bag. She also wore her Cartier bracelet and her Rolex watch.
In the evening, Queen Silvia wore her Georg et Arend outfit with her Jimmy Choo clutch and her usual bracelets.
Princess Madeleine wore her Erdem dress with her Aquazzura pumps and her Bottega Veneta clutch. She paired the outfit with her La Campanina Capri earrings and her Ebba Brahe ring.
