Queen Silvia and Princess Madeleine visit NYC - Day 2
On Thursday, Queen Silvia and Princess Madeleine spent their second day in New York City with the World Childhood Foundation.
They attended the “Digital Guardians: Combating Online Child Sexual Abuse” summit hosted by the World Childhood Foundation USA to mark the 25th anniversary of the World Childhood Foundation.
In her speech, Queen Silvia said: “Technology is not inherently good or bad—it is how we choose to use it that matters. As AI continues to advance, we should focus on the opportunities it offers. AI-driven initiatives are already helping law enforcement track and remove child sexual abuse material. It also holds tremendous potential for detecting grooming behaviours and disrupting the tactics predators use to exploit vulnerable children.”
Queen Silvia wore her Escada suit with her Cartier and Engelbert bracelets.
Princess Madeleine wore a Jonathan Simkhai dress with her Ebba Brahe necklace.
