King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima attend Appeltjes Van Oranje Award Ceremony
On Thursday, Queen Maxima presented the Appeltjes Van Oranje Awards from the Oranje Fonds at Noordeinde Palace. King Willem-Alexander and Princess Beatrix also attended the ceremony.
This year’s Appeltjes Van Oranje Awards focused on the theme "Indispensable Links – The Power of Social Initiatives," and the prizes were awarded to three social initiatives: Stichting Straat Consulaat, Stichting Takecarebnb, and Fundashon Pro Bista Kòrsou. The prize consists of a bronze statuette, designed by Princess Beatrix, and a cash prize of € 25,000.
Queen Maxima wore her Elie Saab jumpsuit with her Gianvito Rossi pumps and her Hermes clutch.




On Saturday, Crown Princess Victoria spent her second day in Indonesia in her role as a United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Goodwill Ambassador.
