King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima attend Appeltjes Van Oranje Award Ceremony
On Thursday, Queen Maxima presented the Appeltjes Van Oranje Awards from the Oranje Fonds at Noordeinde Palace. King Willem-Alexander and Princess Beatrix also attended the ceremony.
This year’s Appeltjes Van Oranje Awards focused on organizations that are helping to address poverty and debt sustainably by breaking through barriers. The prizes were awarded to three social initiatives: Stek Den Haag – Buurt & Lukas, Mega D Youth Foundation, and Stichting Doors Wide Open. The prize consists of a bronze statuette, designed by Princess Beatrix, and a cash prize of € 25,000.
Queen Maxima wore a Natan outfit with her Gianvito Rossi pumps and a Maria La Rosa clutch.
