The Duchess of Edinburgh visits Guatemala - Day 1

On Saturday, the Duchess of Edinburgh spent her first day in Guatemala.

She first visited La Alianza Shelter, an organization dedicated to protecting and empowering girls and adolescent survivors of sexual violence and human trafficking.

Afterward, the Duchess of Edinburgh visited Street Kids Direct, a British organization working to protect children and young people at risk of living on the streets.

The Duchess of Edinburgh also met with the President of Guatemala, Bernardo Arévalo, at the National Palace.

She also met with the Vice-President of Guatemala, Karin Herrera, at the National Museum of Archaeology before attending a reception celebrating the United Kingdom-Guatemala relations.

The Duchess of Edinburgh first wore her Erdem dress with her Penelope Chilvers wedges and her Sophie Habsburg bag. She paired the outfit with her Adore Jewels earrings, her Asprey London bracelet, and her Giulia Barela ring.
