This year’s Childhood Prize winner is Elin Nelly, an analyst at the National Operative Department of the Swedish Police (Noa) with a focus on internet-related sexual abuse of children. When announcing the winner, Princess Madeleine said: “By making complex situations understandable and manageable, you bring others along. With sharp analysis, curiosity, optimism and an impressive tenacity, you search and dig further to create new ways that drive work forward. By initiating global collaborations, you have established Sweden's role internationally and actively contributed to protecting children far beyond national borders. You are the spider in the web that never gives up.”
