Queen Letizia's Cooperation Trip to Cabo Verde - Day 3
On Wednesday, Queen Letizia spent her third day in Cabo Verde where she is undertaking a cooperation trip.
She first visited the Regina Silva Secondary School to learn more about the awareness-raising work being done with adolescents and young adults to prevent gender-based violence.
Afterward, Queen Letizia visited the Mindelo Fish Market and Fishmongers Association to highlight women's access to the labor market through fish processing and sales.
In the Châ de Cricket neighborhood, Queen Letizia had the opportunity to showcase the process of harvesting and handling local agricultural products, which, in an integrated manner, strengthens local organization and production, protecting the livelihoods of local communities. This system, in turn, allows for the introduction of healthy eating, increasing the intake of macro and micronutrients in schools, as can be seen at the "Segunda Companhia" School.
Queen Letizia then visited the Ocean Science Centre and the Oceanographic Center laboratory where she learned more about ongoing blue economy projects.
Queen Letizia wore the shirt and jacket of the Spanish Cooperation with her Stradivarius trousers, her Vivobarefoot boots, and her Coreterno ring.
