On Thursday, Queen Letizia spent her last day in Cabo Verde. She first took part in a breakfast working meeting with the First Lady of Cabo Verde.

Afterward, Queen Letizia and the First Lady visited the Fazenda Esperança Therapeutic Community where they spent time with young people undergoing training to prevent drug addiction among adolescents.

Queen Letizia then visited the Santa Catarina Employment and Vocational Training Center where she watched a first aid demonstration, visited a sewing workshop, and met with members of the Training and Empowerment projects for women victims of gender violence.

Queen Letizia concluded her visit to Cabo Verde at the Amaranta Foundation where she learned more about their "Kredita na bo" project and their shelter.
