On Wednesday, Crown Princess Victoria took part in the opening of the Parliament of the Swedes Abroad which took place digitally. In the Parliament, Swedes abroad, experts, and politicians gather to discuss solutions to the challenges that Swedes abroad have in relation to Swedish regulations.

In her speech, Crown Princess Victoria said: “In an era of rapid events and information flows, it is becoming increasingly important to highlight Sweden as an open, sustainable and democratic country.
