Spanish Royal Family attends 2025 Princess of Girona Foundation Awards
On Wednesday evening, King Felipe, Queen Letizia, Princess Leonor, and Infanta Sofia attended the 2025 Princess of Girona Foundation Awards in Barcelona. The awards celebrate young people who lead projects and initiatives with a clear commitment to bringing about change in our society through cooperation and effort.
During the ceremony, Princess Leonor handed out the awards to the 2025 winners. They are Manuel Bouzas Barcala (Arts and Literature), Andreu Dotti Boada (Business), Pablo Sánchez Bergasa (Social), Antoni Forner Cuenca (Scientific Research), and Gabriela Asturias and Valentina Agudelo (International).






In her speech, Princess Leonor said: “The six of you tackle the complexity of the world and transform it into clear, accessible and effective solutions. The six of you have anticipated challenges and worked long-term in a world where everything is urgent. The six of you have chosen the difficult path, that of commitment, purpose, awareness of what is right, of what needs to be done. We thank you all for enlightening us with your determination and patience to strive and persevere, and to share so much talent in the service of society.”
Queen Letizia wore her Mango suit with her Sézane pumps and her Magrit clutch. She paired the outfit with her TOUS earrings and her Coreterno ring.
Princess Leonor wore a Bleis suit with her PINKCHICguagua pumps and her Olivia Mareque bag. She also wore earrings that belong to her mother.
Infanta Sofia wore a THE-ARE jumpsuit with her Magrit flats and her mother’s Karen Hallam ring.
