On Friday, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh attended a VJ80 commemoration service at Edinburgh Castle.

Victory over Japan (VJ) Day marked the surrender of Japan forces, which essentially ended the Second World War. The service attended by the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh was held by the Royal British Legion Scotland.

Earlier this week, the Duchess of Edinburgh had met with Second World War veteran, Jim Wren, who was serving on HMS Repulse when he was captured and held in Sumatra until the end of the war.

On Friday, the Duchess wore her Proenza Schouler dress with Penelope Chilvers pumps and her Sophie Habsburg clutch. She paired the outfit with her Giulia Barela Nodo earrings and her Asprey London bracelet.

When meeting with Jim Wren on Tuesday, the Duchess wore a Lexy London printed dress with Penelope Chilvers wedges. She paired the outfit with her Giulia Barela earrings and her Asprey London bracelet.
