Queen Mary visits 'Young Friends of Nature' project
On Friday, Queen Mary visited the 'Young Friends of Nature' project at the Amager Nature Center. The project is led by SIND, the Danish Association for Mental Health, of which Queen Mary is Patron.

The SIND project matches young people with mental health challenges with a volunteer of the same age who goes on nature walks and shares experiences of being outdoors. Nature is used as a shared space to build relationships and strengthen well-being.
During her visit, Queen Mary joined a nature walk to discuss the young people's experiences, well-being, and the importance of getting out into nature with others.
Queen Mary wore her Laksen outfit with her Salomon hiking shoes.
