New Official Portraits of King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia
On Wednesday, new official portraits of King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia were released as the Royal Court announced that two major milestones for the Royal Couple will be celebrated in 2026.

On April 30th, King Carl Gustaf will celebrate his 80th birthday. To mark the day, a Te Deum will be hosted and a major military guard of honour will take place. A gala dinner will also be hosted in the evening.

On June 19th, the Royal Couple will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. The anniversary will be celebrated on June 13th with a Te Deum and more events to be announced at a later date.

Queen Silvia wore her Georg et Arend green lace top and skirt with her Cartier bracelet. She also wore the Braganza Tiara.
