Queen Maxima visits Ghana - Day 1
On Tuesday, Queen Maxima started a three-day official visit to Ghana in her capacity as the UN Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Financial Health (UNSGSA).
She first visited a pineapple factory and met with farmers who are supported by the Sustainable Trade Initiative IDH, an organization supporting sustainable agriculture, and HPW Fresh & Dry, a Ghanaian fruit-processing company.
Afterward, Queen Maxima visited Manna Mission Hospital in Accra where she met with patients and healthcare providers to discuss how innovations in healthcare can help ease the financial burden that healthcare costs can represent.
Queen Maxima also met with women traders supported by Affinity, a Ghanaian financial services provider combining digital banking with local agents.
Queen Maxima wore a Chorus outfit (with thanks to ModeKoninginMaxima) with her Natan belt, Salvatore Ferragamo flats, and her Marina Raphael bag. She also wore her Olympia Babylonia earrings and her Ray-Ban earrings.
