The Princess of Wales visits Textile Manufacturers in West Wales

On Tuesday, the Princess of Wales visited textile manufacturers in West Wales to highlight the skills of the British textile industry.

She first visited Melin Tregwynt where she toured the mill before meeting with the weavers to learn more about the technique behind the company’s Welsh double cloth weaving.

Afterward, the Princess of Wales visited Huit Denim in Cardigan. She met with the design team and trainees and finished sewing the “Made in Wales” label on a pair of jeans gifted by the brand to the Prince of Wales.

The Princess of Wales also visited the Welsh Quilt Centre which showcases founder Jen Jones’ collection of Welsh Quilts. She toured part of the collection and joined a quilting workshop with local women.

The Princess of Wales wore a vintage coat with a N.Peal jumper (with thanks to KateMiddStyled), Victoria Beckham trousers, and her Emmy pumps. She also wore her Spells of Love earrings.
