Queen Letizia attends World Cancer Day event

On Wednesday, Queen Letizia attended the World Cancer Day event hosted by the Spanish Association Against Cancer of which she is honorary President. During the event, a new comprehensive care model with a focus on humanization was presented. This model is based on the priorities that cancer patients and their families have identified as essential for receiving more humane treatment.

In her speech, Queen Letizia said: “Providing comprehensive care to a person diagnosed with cancer means incorporating social, functional, legal, emotional, and nutritional support to address all the needs of the sick person, which are real and constantly changing. Humanizing care, ultimately, means ensuring consistency, support, and continuity throughout the entire process, which also includes the people who care for us. And, of course, it means placing the person at the heart of all that care.”

Queen Letizia wore her COS coat with her COS dress, her Magrit boots, and her Carolina Herrera bag. She paired the outfit with her TOUS earrings and her Coreterno ring.
