Queen Letizia attends World Cancer Day event
On Tuesday, Queen Letizia attended the World Cancer Day event hosted by the Spanish Association Against Cancer of which she is honorary President. During the event, “Nace Más Datos Cáncer”, the first open space for cancer data in Spain, was presented. "More Data on Cancer " is a project by 24 scientific entities and patient associations that seeks to generate an integrated model of knowledge about cancer.
In her speech, Queen Letizia said: “When a cancer diagnosis appears in a person's life, regardless of where they were born or what their ability or socioeconomic situation is, we are immediately going to know more details about this project that is a great success. An example of unity, collaboration, sharing knowledge, and innovation around cancer. But before listening to the competent voices, one last idea: the Spanish Association Against Cancer, which is one of the 24 entities, dedicates a lot of time and effort to prevention, which is my favorite word, but also that of many people who are here and this year will continue to dedicate themselves very intensely to prevention.”
Queen Letizia wore her Carolina Herrera coat with her Dandara dress, her Magrit pumps, and her Magrit bag. She paired the outfit with her Gold & Roses earrings and her Coreterno ring.
