Queen Letizia attends World Cancer Day event

On Thursday, Queen Letizia attended the World Cancer Day event hosted by the Spanish Association Against Cancer of which she is honorary President. The event focused on the occupational impact of a cancer diagnosis.

In her speech, Queen Letizia said: “The day is dedicated to the impact of a cancer diagnosis in the workplace, on people who have a job. We can imagine the diversity of situations in each of the people who suffer from the disease and what it means to face changes in all areas: physical, psychological, economic, work, and social. When we talk about cancer, and also in this case, it is important to approach everything in a comprehensive way and never forget, never lose sight of the fact that we are talking about vulnerable people, no matter their age or condition.”

Queen Letizia wore her Sandro blouse with her Massimo Dutti skirt and her Magrit pumps. She also wore her Gold & Roses earrings and her Coreterno ring.
