European Royal Families attend Olympic Games Opening Ceremony
On Friday evening, members of European Royal Families were in Milan, Italy, to attend the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympic Games 2026.
King Willem-Alexander, Queen Maxima, and Princess Catharina-Amalia first attended a reception for Heads of States and Governments hosted by the Italian President Sergio Mattarella.

Afterward, they attended the opening ceremony held at San Siro Stadium to cheer on the Netherlands athletes.
Crown Prince Pavlos and Crown Princess Marie-Chantal were also in attendance to support Greek athletes.
Queen Maxima wore a grey suit with grey boots and her Bottega Veneta bag. At the Opening Ceremony, she also wore a Fila Team NL jacket and scarf.
Princess Catharina-Amalia wore a Mango suit. At the Opening Ceremony, she also wore a Fila Team NL jacket and a Denham Team NL scarf.
Crown Princess Marie-Chantal wore a Yves Salomon jacket.
