Queen Letizia hosts audiences at Zarzuela Palace

On Wednesday, Queen Letizia hosted several audiences at Zarzuela Palace. She first met with representatives of the Spanish Society of Palliative Care to hear about the current situation of palliative care in Spain and the main challenges to guarantee equitable and quality care.

Afterward, Queen Letizia met with the coordinators of the “Cassandra Project” lung cancer screening. This is the first pilot project for early detection of this disease integrated into the National Health System, promoted by the Spanish Society of Pulmonology and Thoracic Surgery.

Queen Letizia also met with representatives of the European Association against Leukodystrophies in Spain which celebrates its 25th anniversary. The association works to improve the quality of life of people affected by leukodystrophies and their families.

Queen Letizia wore a Carolina Herrera blouse (with thanks to Nuria) with her Pomandère trousers and her Pons Quintana shoes. She paired the outfit with her Singularu earrings and her Coreterno ring.
