Queen Letizia hosts audiences at Zarzuela Palace
On Tuesday, Queen Letizia hosted several audiences at Zarzuela Palace. She first met with a delegation of the members of the recently created Carlos I Chair of Public Policy, and a group of experts from the Legislative Observatory of Rare Diseases and Orphan Drugs to mark the Observatory’s 5th anniversary.
Afterward, Queen Letizia received representatives of the Association of Rare Diseases “Más Visibles” and from the documentary film “Life in a Drop”. The film uses culture as a tool to make visible the reality of patients and their families and to raise awareness in society about the importance of early diagnosis and research into rare diseases.
Queen Letizia also met with a delegation from the Porque Viven Foundation, a non-profit organization that has supported children and adolescents with serious and incurable diseases, as well as their families, in the field of pediatric palliative care. She heard about the Comprehensive Pediatric Palliative Care Center which will offer comprehensive care to children and their families in an environment specially designed to meet their needs.
Queen Letizia wore her Adolfo Dominguez blouse with repeated trousers, a Hugo Boss belt, and her Sézane shoes. She also wore her Alhaja Cult Store earrings and her Coreterno ring.
