In her speech, Crown Princess Victoria said: “But the most important thing you have conveyed to us – not so much in words as in action – is the respect and humility you have shown towards your mission. Serving Sweden has been, and is, not just your life's work, but your calling. Together with Mom, you have shown me and my siblings, every day, what it means to honor your mission. I will do everything I can to pass that understanding on to the next generation. The next link in the chain.”
