Queen Letizia marks World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day

On Thursday, Queen Letizia marked World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day in Pamplona.

She first visited the "Espacio Activo" Comprehensive Care Center for the Elderly. The center aims to promote well-being, autonomy, and social participation through personalized care, group intervention, and community dynamization.

Afterward, Queen Letizia went to the University of Navarra Museum to preside over the main event. She presented the Spanish Red Cross Gold Medals, which recognize the social and solidarity work of those who share and defend the same principles and values as the Institution, and achieve a positive social impact.

In her speech, Queen Letizia said: “Seneca was credited with saying "where there is a human being there is an opportunity to do good"; well, we are about to learn more about the people and institutions that today receive recognition from a long-established and highly valued entity in Spanish society, the Red Cross, as demonstrated by the commitment of its members, volunteers and the companies that collaborate with it.”

Queen Letizia wore her Zara blazer with a Hugo Boss blouse (with thanks to Emma), Hugo Boss trousers, and her Pretty Ballerinas pumps. She paired the outfit with her Barbara Goenaga earrings and her Coreterno ring.
