Queen Letizia attends World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day event
On Wednesday, Queen Letizia attended an event marking World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day in Murcia.
During the event, Queen Letizia delivered the 2025 Spanish Red Cross Gold Medals. The medals recognize the social and solidarity work of those who share and defend the same principles and values as the Institution, and achieve a positive social impact.
In her speech, Queen Letizia said: “The Red Cross will not allow these words to be wasted because they are the values it puts into action every day with its actions and results, and because they are its constant references for continuing to work. That is why we must give thanks to society; it is Spanish society, in its majority, that supports the work of the Red Cross, and in times of doubt, in times of uncertainty, in times of certain questions and of enormous complexity that is sometimes overwhelming, it is worth remembering what we are. “
Queen Letizia wore a Hugo Boss white blouse with Sézane trousers (with thanks to Nuria) and her Massimo Dutti loafers. She paired the outfit with gold hoop earrings and her Coreterno ring.
