Norwegian Royals welcomed National Team to the Palace
On Monday, King Harald was joined by Crown Prince Haakon, Princess Ingrid Alexandra, and Prince Sverre Magnus at the Royal Palace to welcome the Norwegian men's national football team home following their historic performance in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
A crowd of up to 90,000 gathered outside, their voices singing “Alt for Norge” audible through the palace windows. During the reception, King Harald addressed the team, thanking them for the joy they brought to the nation and encouraging them to appreciate the magnitude of their success despite their current disappointment. Following the formal reception, the Crown Prince and his children joined the team out on the Palace Square to greet the public.
Princess Ingrid Alexandra marked the occasion in her mother’s Prada sleeveless lightweight top, accessorized with Dulong earrings and a cross pendant from Scandivv.
