Queen Maxima visits Hengelo and Doetinchem
On Thursday, Queen Maxima visited Hengelo and Doetinchem to learn more about biobased construction and how to make buildings more sustainable. In Hengelo, Queen Maxima first heard about the cultivation process and assisted with the harvest of the sustainable crop.
Afterward, in Doetinchem, Queen Maxima visited the site of a new construction project, where rental and owner-occupied homes have been built using high-quality, sustainable materials. She also visited a primary school built with sustainable and bio-based materials.
Queen Maxima wore an Ulla Johnson outfit with her Natan flats and her Chanel bag. She paired the outfit with her Ray-Ban sunglasses, her Zara earrings, and her Marianna Goulandris bracelet.
