King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia visit Lidköping
On Thursday, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia visited Lidköping to mark the 300th anniversary of Rörstrand, Sweden's oldest porcelain factory.
The Royal Couple first visited Läckö Castle where they saw the exhibition "Rörstrand 300 years - treasures from the National Museum's collections" which displays porcelain and ceramics from the four centuries that Rörstrand was active.
Afterward, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia visited Framnäs Strandpark in Lidköping where they also met with representatives of Lidköping’s youth council.
The Royal Couple also visited the Rörstrand Museum where they viewed the anniversary exhibition “Rörstrand 300 years” before planting a pear tree of the “Rörstrandspäron” variety outside the old factory.
Queen Silvia wore her Rena Lange jacket with black trousers, her Rieker trainers, and her Mulberry bag.
On Friday, Crown Princess Victoria started a five-day official visit to Indonesia as a United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Goodwill Ambassador.
