King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia visit Värmland

This week, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia made a two-day visit to Värmland.

On Thursday evening, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia were guests of honor during the premiere performance of "Selma" at Wermland Opera.

The opera is newly written by Mats Larsson Gothe and Maria Sundqvist and depicts Selma Lagerlöf's friendship with Henriette Coyet. Selma Lagerlöf was a Swedish writer and the first woman to win the Nobel Prize in Literature.

On Friday, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia visited the coffee roastery Löfbergs. They met the siblings Kathrine, Marint, and Mikael Löfberg, whose great-grandfather helped found Löfbergs 120 years ago.

On Thursday, Queen Silvia wore a black outfit with her Brunate pumps and her Judith Leiber clutch.

On Friday, Queen Silvia wore her Zara jacket with her Vesna W blouse and black trousers. She paired the outfit with her Rieker trainers and her Mulberry bag. She also wore her Hermes scarf.
