For the christening of Prince Sverre Magnus in 2006, Heaven recently found that Crown Princess Mette-Marit wore a black Chanel jacket with white around the collar. She also wore a black headband in her hair.
Sverre Magnus was baptized into the Church of Norway by Bishop Ole Christian Kvarme in the Royal Chapel of the Royal Palace in Oslo on March 4, 2006. His godparents were Queen Sonja of Norway, paternal grandmother; Queen Maxima of the Netherlands (then Princess Maxima); Crown Prince Pavlos of Greece; Princess Rosario of Bulgaria; Espen Hoiby, maternal uncle; Bjorn Steinsland, a friend of his parents; and Marianne Gjellestad, a friend of his parents.
Foreign royals at the christening included Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden, Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark, Crown Princess Mary of Denmark, and Queen Margrethe of Denmark.
During the ceremony, his older half-brother,Marius lit a candle and his older sister, Princess Ingrid Alexandra lost interest during the ceremony and sat on the steps. Their mother was seen bending down to talk to her during the time the Bishop was christening the little prince. Mette-Marit also gave a reading.
