Crown Princess Mette-Marit at dinner ahead of Oslo Climate And Forest Conference in 2010

As the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrive in Oslo today for a two-day trip, we take a look back at an outfit Crown Princess Mette-Marit wore in 2010 with the Duke's father, the Prince of Wales, in town.

On May 26, 2010, Crown Princess Mette-Marit attended a dinner in Oslo ahead of the Oslo Climate And Forest Conference alongside the Prince of Wales and then Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg of Norway for Heads of State and Government 

The Crown Princess wore a ivory lace and embroidered dress by Valentino and a pair of black and gold Valentino heels. She even had her toes painted with fuchsia nail polish. UFO No More recently found that she also wore a matching satin Lela Rose Coat for the occasion.

The Crown Princess posed outside with the Prince and Prime Minister before entering to enjoy dinner. They were also photographed on the balcony during the evening. 

The Prince of Wales was in town to speak at the May conference where he urged "the representatives of the some 30 countries gathered at the meeting to focus on the contributors of deforestation such as agriculture, encouraging governments to work together to reach a solution that enhances ecosystems and protects local communities, " according to Hello!

The Norwegian Prime Minister was later praised in Norway for securing a financial agreement worth around USD 4 billionwith countries around the world on new quick start measures which will aim to halt deforestation, as well as cut emissions that harm the environment.
