Grand Duchess Maria Teresa and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie's state visit fashion
This week, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde made a state visit to Luxembourg. Grand Duchess Maria Teresa was unable to attend most of the events as she is recovering from knee surgery but she did attend the gala dinner. Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie filled in for her mother-in-law. Here is a recap of the Grand Duchess’ and Hereditary Grand Duchess’ outfits. On the first day, despite not being able to take part in the official welcome ceremony, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa met with King Philippe and Queen Mathilde at the Palace.
She wore her white Carolina Herrera shirt with her Prada black pumps.
In the evening, the gala dinner took place. The Court said that the Grand Duchess couldn’t wear her sash because of the position due to her knee surgery but she managed to attend the full dinner.
Maria Teresa wore her Paule Ka black organza bolero with a new green Carolina Herrera gown (with thanks to Elena). Stéphanie debuted a new gown which is still ufo.
On the second day, Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie accompanied Queen Mathilde to several events in Luxembourg.
She wore a Paule Ka dress (with thanks to VK) with her Sergio Rossi pumps and clutch and a new Sylvia Martinez hat.
In the evening, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa was unable to attend the reception but Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stephanie joined King Philippe, Queen Mathilde, and Grand Duke Henri.
Stéphanie wore a new Oscar de la Renta gown with her Oscar de la Renta earrings. Her clutch belongs to Grand Duchess Maria Teresa.
On the last day, Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie joined King Philippe and Queen Mathilde at the train station to bid them farewell at the end of the state visit.
Stéphanie wore a new dress that is still ufo with her LK Bennett navy Darcia pumps.
