Spanish royal family attends Princess of Girona Awards

Today, King Felipe, Queen Letizia, Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia are spending their first day in Barcelona where they will attend the Princess of Girona awards. It is the first time Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia are attending the awards.

In the early afternoon, King Felipe, Queen Letizia, and their daughters attended a meeting with winners of the previous editions of the Princess de Girona awards.

In the evening, the family attended the award ceremony and Princess Leonor and King Felipe made speeches. This year’s winners are Rafael Rodríguez Villalobos (Arts & Literature), Ignacio Hernández Medrano (Business), Xavier Ros-Oton (Scientific Research), Begoña Arana Álvarez (Social) and Maria Jammal (International Award).

For the afternoon meeting, Letizia repeated her Roberto Torretta pantsuit with her Carolina Herrera clutch and old red leather pumps. She also wore her Aldao Joyeros earrings and her Karen Hallam ring.

In the evening, Letizia debuted a new pantsuit by Pertegaz. She paired it with her Magrit clutch, bespoke Manolo Blahnik pumps, Karen Hallam ring and Joyas de Pasar earrings.
