Today, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for a visit to the Field of Remembrance ahead of Remembrance Sunday. They were supposed to be joined by the Duchess of Cornwall but she had to cancel her appearance as she is sick.

The Field of Remembrance at Westminster Abbey opens today and will be opened until November 17th. It aims to honor and remember those who lost their lives while serving in the Armed Forces. The Field of Remembrance at Westminster Abbey has been organized by The Poppy Factory since 1928 and the Duchess of Cornwall is Patron of The Poppy Factory.

We don’t want to focus too much on fashion but here’s a quick rundown of what Meghan wore. She debuted a new Sentaler wrap coat from their 2015 collection with a black dress underneath, a Prada belt, Tamara Mellon x FRAME boots and a Philip Treacy hat.

Lest we forget.
