Princess Ingrid Alexandra visits her Sculpture Park

Today, Queen Sonja and Princess Ingrid Alexandra visited Princess Ingrid Alexandra’s Sculpture Park. The park was a gift from Sparebankstiftelsen DNB for King Harald and Queen Sonja’s 25th anniversary in 2016.

The first sculptures were unveiled in 2016, with grants in 2017 and 2018. In June 2019, the last sculptures came into place, and the Sculpture Park now contains 12 sculptures. The sculptures are the result of drawing competitions among 5th and 6th graders in all the counties of the country. The park is now finished and this is why Sonja and Ingrid Alexandra visited the Park today. During the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s official visit to Norway in 2018, Ingrid Alexandra had presented her park to William and Catherine.

Ingrid-Alexandra wore a coat her mother, Crown Princess Mett-Marit, first wore in 2002!

Underneath the coat, she wore a new sweater and a new tulle skirt by Cathrine Hammel.
