The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge host UK-Africa Investment Summit Reception
Today, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge hosted a reception at Buckingham Palace for the leaders attending the UK-Africa Investment Summit on behalf of the Queen.
They were joined at the reception by the Earl and Countess of Wessex and the Princess Royal. The UK-Africa Investment Summit is hosted by the UK Government and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and aims to “bring together businesses, governments, and international institutions to showcase and promote the breadth and quality of investment opportunities across Africa.”
Prince William also made a speech where he talked about his ties to Africa as well as choosing Kenya to propose to Catherine.
The Duchess of Cambridge wore a new midi dress by Needle & Thread with new Soru Jewellery earrings, her Jenny Packham clutch and matching Gianvito Rossi pumps.
The Countess of Wessex wore her Alaia red midi scalloped dress with her Jimmy Choo velvet pumps.
