King Felipe and Queen Letizia visit SOS Children's Village in Madrid

Today, King Felipe and Queen Letizia spent the sixth anniversary of their accession to the throne by spending the morning in an SOS Children’s Village in Madrid. The village received the Princess of Asturias Award for Concord in 2016 and Queen Letizia last visited the village in 2019.

The village is dedicated to offering the children they welcome - who are deprived of parental care - a family, a stable home, and a solid education, adopting a universal family model. The organization also supports families in vulnerable situations to strengthen them and improve their living conditions, so that they can adequately care for their children, thus avoiding family separation with a working model already extended in 136 countries.

Queen Letizia wore a new Hugo Boss black and white jacquard sweater with black Emporio Armani trousers and new Macarena wedges. She also wore her Karen Hallam ring.
