The Duchess of Cambridge visits Fakenham Garden Centre
On June 18th, the Duchess of Cambridge made her first public appearance since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic as she visited the Fakenham Garden Centre in Norfolk. The garden centre reopened this week as non-essential shops are now allowed to reopen in the United Kingdom.
The Duchess of Cambridge met with the owners of the Centre and she had the opportunity to learn about the issues caused by the virus to independent businesses and how they are adjusting to the new measures. The Center had to close for seven weeks and had to furlough 15 out of 50 staff and make redundancies.
Catherine wore a new Fjällräven padded vest with her Jaeger linen shirt and Massimo Dutti chocolate skinny trousers. She also wore her Superga trainers and her Monica Vinader earrings.
