Regal Review: 2015 Peruvian State Visit to Spain - Day 1
On 7 July 2015, the President of Peru Ollanta Humala and his wife Nadine Heredia started a two days state visit to Spain.
They were officially welcomed by King Felipe and Queen Letizia at the Royal Palace of El Pardo.
King Felipe and Queen Letizia then received the President and the First Lady for a lunch at Zarzuela Palace. King Felipe and President Humala also had a private meeting at Zarzuela.
In the evening, King Felipe and Queen Letizia hosted a gala dinner at the Royal Palace for the Presidential couple which was attended by representatives of state institutions and from the business, cultural, economic, and media from both countries.
For the welcome ceremony, Letizia wore a Hugo Boss white peplum top and a Hugo Boss white pencil skirt. She also wore her Magrit ‘Beatriz’ pumps and a Magrit clutch. She paired the outfit with her TOUS pearl earrings.
For the lunch, Letizia wore a Hugo Boss white shirt with her Hugo Boss black scribble-print skirt. She kept the same TOUS earrings and wore her Prada black pumps.
For the gala dinner, Letizia wore a sleeveless embroidered navy ball gown by Felipe Varela. She wore a navy clutch with her wedding earrings and her floral tiara. She also wore the sash of the Peruvian Order of Merit for Distinguished Service.
