Regal Review: The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's 2011 Canada Tour - Day 8
On 7 July 2011, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge started the last leg of their Canada tour in Calgary.
Upon their arrival at Calgary International Airport, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were officially welcomed by the Mayor of Calgary who gifted them traditional Stetson cowboy hats.
Afterward, the couple visited the University of Calgary Ward of the 21st Century Research and Innovation Centre (W21C) where they attended a presentation on cutting-edge health research and innovation taking place in Calgary and what lays ahead for future health research in Canada.
In the evening, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended a reception hosted by the Canadian Government at the BMO Stampede Park as guests of honors.
For the first events, Catherine wore a bespoke primrose yellow Jenny Packham dress with her LK Bennett pumps and LK Bennett clutch. She paired the outfit with her Kiki McDonough citrine earrings and Tiffany & Co bracelet.
For the government reception, Catherine wore an Alice by Temperley printed blouse, Goldsign jeans and R.Soles cowboy boots. She also wore her Vinnie Day earrings, her Tiffany & Co bracelet and the white cowboy hat she received earlier in the day.
Stay tuned for more Regal Review posts this week as we continue looking back on the tour as well as two state visits and a royal christening!
