Regal Review: The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's 2011 California Visit - Day 3

On 10 July 2011, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge spent their last day in California before traveling back to the UK after a successful North American tour.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge first attended a reception to mark the launch of Tusk's US Patron Circle.

Afterward, the couple visited the Inner-City Arts Project which is a program that helps disadvantaged and homeless children through art. Both William and Catherine took part in some of the organization’s activities during their visit.

Their final engagement of the tour was the Mission Serve: Hiring Our Heroes event where they help put together care packages for military veterans transitioning to civilian life.

Then, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge went to Los Angeles International Airport to fly back to London.

For the last events of her first royal tour, Catherine wore a navy crochet top by Whistles with a white Whistles pleated skirt. She wore her Alexander McQueen navy pumps and her Stuart Weitzman nude clutch. She paired the outfit with her sapphire and diamond earrings and her Tiffany & Co bracelet.

While this conclude our coverage of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s first royal tour, stay tuned for more Regal Review posts this weekend as we look back on King Felipe and Queen Letizia’s state visit to the UK.
