Regal Review: The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's 2011 California Visit - Day 2
On 9 July 2011, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge spent their second day in California as part of their North American tour.
Their day started in Santa Barbara as they attended a charity polo match benefitting The American Friends of the Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry. William played in the match while Catherine handed out the prizes.
In the evening, the Duke and the Duchess of Cambridge attended a gala dinner hosted by BAFTA, of which William is President, at the Belasco Theatre in Los Angeles. The event aimed to support emerging British talent and create partnerships between Hollywood and up-and-coming British actors.
For the polo match, Catherine wore a floral silk dress by Jenny Packham with LK Bennett sandals and her LK Bennett clutch. She also wore her Kiki McDonough citrine earrings.
For the BAFTA event, Catherine wore a custom made Alexander McQueen lilac gown with Jimmy Choo silver accessories.
