On Tuesday, Queen Maxima attended several digital events as UN SG's Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance. She first attended a roundtable with sector leaders in Senegal to discuss accelerating inclusive financial policies—particularly related to digital financial services and in the context of COVID-19—to improve the lives of people across the country.

Afterward, Queen Maxima met with the International Monetary Fund’s Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva to talk about their work on women’s financial inclusion, digital financial services, and cybersecurity during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Queen Maxima also met Governor Alejandro Díaz de León of the Banco de México to talk about the national strategy for financial inclusion (NFIS), which was launched in March 2020.

Queen Maxima wore a new Natan printed blouse.
