Queen Máxima visits athletes ahead of Special Olympics National Games

Today, Queen Maxima visited The Hague Sports Campus to meet with athletes ahead of the Special Olympics National Games.

The Special Olympics National Games is the largest biennial nationwide sporting event for athletes with intellectual disabilities, taking place from June 11-13.

During her visit, Queen Maxima spoke with stakeholders and researchers about the importance of sport for people with intellectual disabilities and the health issues involved.

Afterward, Queen Maxima met with athletes to discuss their experiences and took part in various sport activities.

Queen Maxima wore her Seren London jumpsuit with an Oscar de la Renta belt (with thanks to @queenmaxima_fashion) and her Dinh Van bracelet. She also carried a red clutch and wore new red wedges.
