Spanish royal family attends 'Order of the Civil Merit' Awards Ceremony

Today, King Felipe, Queen Letizia, Princess Leonor, and Infanta Sofia attended the 'Order of the Civil Merit' Awards Ceremony at the Royal Palace to mark the 7th anniversary of King Felipe’s proclamation.

During the ceremony, King Felipe awarded the Order of the Civil Merit to various citizens in recognition of their personal commitment and social contribution, especially during the pandemic.

In his speech, King Felipe said: "Your example unites us, excites us, and makes us proud; you are a mirror in which we must all look at ourselves. And to continue building a Spain with your example, with the example of a strong and serene, civic and supportive society, is a commitment and a project that should unite us all ”.

Afterward, the family posed for a group photograph with the citizens decorated before meeting with the winning children of the school contest "What is a King for you?".

Queen Letizia wore a new fuchsia dress by Moises Nieto (with thanks to @letizia_de_princesa_a_reina) with her Carolina Herrera pumps. She paired the outfit with her TOUS earrings and Karen Hallam gold ring.

Infanta Sofia wore a new pink tweed dress with her Carolina Herrera ballet flats.
