Crown Princess Mary visits Nældebjerg Care Center

Today, Crown Princess Mary visited the Nældebjerg Care Center in Greve with the Danish Minister of Social Affairs and the Elderly.

During her visit, Crown Princess Mary spent some time with the residents to hear about their experiences during the pandemic and how difficult it was to be isolated during lockdowns.

Crown Princess Mary also toured the facilities to see how they have gone back to normal as much as possible.

In a message shared on the Court’s social media accounts, Crown Princess Mary said: “Our close relationships are so important to us as humans! This was once again confirmed today, when I visited Nældellabjerg Care Center with the Minister of Social Affairs and talked with residents, relatives, staff, and volunteers about the deprivation, isolation, and void that has characterized them for the past year.”

She also said: “But it has also been a year of creativity and transition readiness, and fortunately many good events and good, common traditions have been happening again. It was great to see!”

Crown Princess Mary wore a new Polo Ralph Lauren dress (with thanks to @innominate_93) with new Arteana pumps and her Hugo Boss grey suede clutch. She paired the outfit with her Dulong and Cartier jewels.
