King Felipe and Queen Letizia host lunch for the President of the Republic of Chile
Today, King Felipe and Queen Letizia hosted an official lunch for the President of the Republic of Chile Sebastián Piñera at the Royal Palace in Madrid.
The President of the Republic of Chile is currently on an official visit to Spain and he attended a meeting with King Felipe before the lunch. The Royal Couple and the President welcomed guests before the lunch.
In his speech during the lunch, King Felipe said: "Chile and Spain have proven to be, over the years, even more than two countries united by deep historical, cultural, and linguistic ties.”
Queen Letizia wore a dress that belonged to Queen Sofia who wore it during an official visit to Rome in 1981 as noted by Nuria! Queen Letizia had the embroideries redone in silver. She paired the dress with her Michael Kors silver belt and Magrit nude pumps. She also wore her Chanel ‘Plume’ earrings and her Karen Hallam gold ring.
